Monsieur is a beautiful prestige category fabric from leading Australian brand Zepel fabrics.  Consistently it has become one of our best sellers. Why?  It has a sensory quality.  Its a superb looking fabric that leaves you in no doubt of its quality from the outset.  This thick, irregular plush pile, sumptuous, mottled chenille has an undulating lustre and is sure to inject a sense of luxury into any space.  

It is opulent and tactile by nature, easy to live with and comes in a gorgeous range of colour options.  It can add sumptuous, indulgent texture to warm a modern space or easily play back into a classic look.  What we find very special about this fabric is that it can also be used to create an authentic looking sense of iconic mid-century and 70's cool for your upholstery - the rare type that you might find in an upmarket vintage furniture boutique if you were very lucky.  We've seen this type of traditionally made quality fabric come around in the 30's, 70's and with this updated palette, now again.

Monsieur also great to live with, it has FibreGuard.  This provides strong stain resistance for a wide variety of common household stains. The FibreGuard process coats the yarn in the finishing process resulting in an inherent strength and longevity to the stain resistance.  FibreGuard is also Oeko-Tex certified, a global independent standard involving the testing of the fabric for harmful substances. Oeko-Tex tests for numerous regulated and non-regulated substances which are harmful to human health.  This certification ensures FibreGuard is environmentally safe to use.
