DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

The cost of delivery will vary depending upon what you buy.  Please see below for an outline of our shipping and delivery costs:

  • When placing your order online for upholstery, shipping will automatically come up as:  "LOCAL DELIVERY OR SHIPPING IS CHARGED ADDITIONALLY AFTER CHECKOUT " and will be charged at a value of 1 cent.  We will then correct your shipping total when you pay your final balance.

FREE PICK-UP

Most of our custom-made upholstery includes a FREE PICK-UP option please see individual product listings for eligibility.  For goods that are in stock and ready to ship, your order may be collected Tuesday to Friday between 9 am to 3 pm, only with an advance booking made at least 48 hours prior.  Once your order is complete, we will contact you to process your remaining balance payment and to make suitable collection or delivery arrangements with you.

Free pick-up can also apply to any products listed with this option available.

DELIVERY OF OUR WESTERN MADE CUSTOM MADE UPHOLSTERY

The delivery fee for our Western Australian made upholstery varies in price, depending on your needs.  In each instance, we will discuss this with you before-hand so that you can have suitable arrangements in place to ensure a smooth easy delivery process. (Please see Perth local delivery below)

This same process also applies to any other large, heavy or “bulky” item/s held in Perth that need to be delivered in Perth.

Please note, we do not currently ship our custom-made upholstered items interstate. 

A ONE PERSON DELIVERY - Costs from $80.00 inc. gst:  This is the basic ground floor delivery option, and it is likely that you will need to make sure you also have someone onsite to assist the driver to carry what is being delivered safely into your home.

A TWO PERSON DELIVERY – Costs from $150.00 inc. gst:  This is the basic ground floor delivery option, and you will not need to assist the delivery team to carry what is being delivered into your home – they will do this for you.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES THAT MAY APPLY

Your delivery has a maximum 15-minute time allocation once the driver is onsite. onsite, should your delivery exceed this allocation, an additional fee may be incurred.

NON-GROUND FLOOR DELIVERY

An additional fee of + $20 per floor / or flight of stairs is charged on top of the base delivery rate:

  • If you live in an apartment and you have a lift – this counts as 1 floor = + $20
  • If you live in a 2-story home with your delivery being carried up to the second floor = +$20
  • If you live in an apartment on the 4th Floor and your delivery needs to be carried up via the stairwell for any reason + $60
  • Unpacking, assembly of goods, installation and removal of packaging material is also charged additionally.

 

DELIVERY OUTSIDE OF A 40KM RADIUS FROM BASSENDEAN, WA

Delivery outside of the Perth Metropolitan area, across Western Australia and Interstate will be quoted as required.  Please get in contact and we’ll provide you a cost based on your needs.  Delivery will be processed as a separate transaction outside of the checkout process.

 

USING YOUR OWN CARRIER

We take great pride in inspecting goods prior to despatching them and make sure that items leave our care in prime condition.  If you choose our free pick-up option and collect an order yourself or with your appointed delivery company, liability for the goods passes to you immediately.  You will be asked to sign of confirming that the items are in good condition and that you are taking responsibility for them. 

If damage occurs in transit, you will be responsible for the damage and will need to take the necessary steps to resolve the issue with your carrier. 

 

CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY DURING DELIVERY

  • It is the customers responsibility to ensure that a clear space has been made prior to your delivery arriving onsite, so that your items can be carried straight in and placed in your desired location.
  • Is the customers responsibility to make sure that onsite or designated parking and clear unencumbered access is available for the delivery to be completed.
  • It is the customers responsibility to ensure that prior arrangements have been made with your building supervisor and within your buildings regulations to make sure that your delivery can be completed. This can include things such as permits, parking allocation, lift and floor protection and anything else that is relevant.
  • It is the customers responsibility to have checked all measurements and dimensions of your homes access, lift interior, size of stairwell and the size of the piece/s that you have purchased to ensure that the goods will fit.
  • It is not the delivery driver’s responsibility to move, re-arrange or carry away your existing furniture. Unpacking, assembly, installation and disposal of packaging materials is not included within the delivery price; however, it can be arranged for and additional cost.
