We are proudly green at heart, whenever possible we make our choices with the welfare of the planet and its people in mind. Our DECORISTA cushions are no exception.  We hope that others follow suit because ultimately small changes on mass can lead to bigger, better things for all.

Our cushions are special and you won't find them anywhere else.  Our sizing is more generous than most, either 50cm x 50cm or 55cm x 55cm just like a good interior designer would use and we have chosen not to make a basic 45cm x 45cm budget size cushion at all.

Offering our cushions at the right price is also incredibly important to us because we want you to love them and to keep you coming back for more.  Our covers are made overseas to our specifications in small production runs and assembled here.  With control of our own supply chain, we have the opportunity to think a little differently, find a balance and ultimately deliver you more.

DECORISTA cushions come with your choice of two premium quality fillings that are better for the Planet.  One standard, one luxury, depending on your preference.  Either way, you can confidently feel good.

We use a 100% recycled PET fibre (polythene terephthalate) Australian made infill, which is the type of plastic we commonly see used to make clear plastic drink bottles and other similar packaging.  Our cushion infills recycle the equivalent of twelve to sixteen 1.25 litre drink bottles in each one.  They are also generously stuffed and maintain their shape much better than their "polyfill" equivalent over time.  They have a zip in the insert to adjust the fill if you find them too full (we recommend you any extra fill aside so that you can add it back in if needed in time).  These inserts also are non-allergenic and antibacterial.

Interestingly, feather filled cushions date back to the vikings and beyond.  We love them!  They are a time proven, long wearing, make use of a by-product and are an environmentally friendly bio-degradable alternative that also happen to be a staple in luxurious interior design.  Our feather inserts perform, look and feel great.  If you're actively using the cushion, these are great to snuggle with and will always "fluff" back up like new with a good shake.  Feather filling is also essential when you appreciate a good "decorator pillow chop" in the top of your cushions.  We use an Australian made (from local and imported components) high quality, cotton covered, 100% duck feather insert with one of the highest filling ratios on the market.
