How to Order

Great furniture doesn't happen by accident.

From choosing a design and selecting the perfect fabric to confirming the finer details and arranging delivery, every DECORISTA piece follows a carefully considered process designed to make ordering custom furniture simple and enjoyable.

Here's how it works.

1. Choose Your Design

Browse our collection of Western Australian-made lounges and upholstered furniture and select the design that best suits your space, lifestyle, and design preferences.  Many designs are available in multiple sizes, configurations, and modular arrangements, and can often be configured in either left- or right-hand layouts to suit your space.

To help you choose with confidence, every product includes a downloadable specification sheet detailing dimensions, configuration options, and key product information. These guides make it easy to compare designs, plan your layout, and ensure your chosen furniture is the right fit for your home.

2. Select Your Fabric

Choose from our extensive virtual fabric gallery, featuring a curated collection of upholstery fabrics sourced from Australia's leading textile suppliers.

Every fabric in our standard collection is available across our entire furniture range, giving you exceptional freedom to personalise your furniture and create a look that's uniquely yours.

3. Place Your Order

You can order in whichever way suits you best.

Order Online
Simply select your chosen furniture design and complete your purchase through our website.

There's no need to select your fabric, configuration, leg finish, or other available options during checkout. Once we receive your order, we'll guide you through these selections as part of our order review process before manufacturing begins.

Order Through Our Team
Many customers prefer to contact us before ordering, and we generally recommend this approach. It gives you the opportunity to discuss fabrics, available options, sizing, delivery requirements, and any questions you may have before proceeding. We also offer complimentary consultations for customers who would like additional guidance, although they're certainly not essential.

When you're ready to proceed, we can issue an invoice for a 50% deposit to commence your order, with the balance payable once your furniture is complete and ready for collection or delivery.

For bespoke fabrics, Luxury Line customisations, or other special requirements, we'll provide a tailored quotation before proceeding.

4. Order Review & Confirmation

Regardless of how you place your order, every DECORISTA order goes through a personalised review process before manufacturing begins. While customers appreciate the convenience of ordering online, we believe custom furniture should still be supported by expert guidance and personal service.

Once your order is received, we'll contact you by email and, where required, by telephone to confirm all relevant details. This ensures your furniture is tailored to your requirements and helps eliminate costly mistakes before production commences.

During this review process, we'll confirm your:

• Fabric selection
• Leg finish or leg style (where applicable)
• Left- or right-hand configuration
• Delivery requirements
• Any other available options specific to your chosen design

If you're unsure which fabric, configuration, or option is right for your home, we'll be happy to guide you through the available choices and make recommendations based on your requirements.

We'll also provide a delivery quotation based on your location and delivery requirements. Alternatively, complimentary customer collection is available on all standard designs.

Manufacturing does not commence until all selections have been confirmed and the delivery quotation has been accepted. This gives you the opportunity to review every detail, including delivery costs, before your furniture enters production.

If you decide not to proceed at this stage, simply let us know and your order will be cancelled before manufacturing begins, with no further obligation.

5. Approve Your Order & Commence Production

Once your selections have been confirmed, your delivery quotation has been accepted, and any required payment has been received, your order will be released for manufacture.

We'll then send you a confirmation email advising that your order has been approved for production, together with an estimated completion date based on current manufacturing schedules.

Our standard production timeframe is approximately 35 days, with this period commencing from the date your order is approved for manufacture.

As all DECORISTA furniture is made to order, changes or cancellations are no longer possible once manufacturing has commenced.

6. Your Furniture Is Handcrafted in Perth

Every DECORISTA piece is made to order and carefully handcrafted in Perth, Western Australia, using quality materials and traditional upholstery techniques.

Local manufacturing allows us to maintain high standards of quality control while providing reliable lead times and responsive customer support throughout the process.

Our standard collection is typically completed within approximately 35 days from the date your order is approved for manufacture.

Selected DECORISTA Luxury Line designs may require longer manufacturing timeframes due to their premium materials, enhanced craftsmanship, and bespoke customisation options. Where applicable, estimated completion dates and lead times will be discussed with you during the order confirmation process.

Should any unexpected delays arise due to material availability or other factors outside our control, we'll keep you informed and provide updated timeframes as soon as possible.

7. Delivery, Collection & Enjoy

Once your furniture has been completed and passed final quality checks, we'll contact you to arrange collection or delivery.

Complimentary customer collection is available on all standard designs from our Bassendean collection point. Alternatively, delivery can be arranged throughout Perth and selected Western Australian locations. Please note that DECORISTA Luxury Line designs are available as delivery only and cannot be collected.

Delivery charges are quoted separately, based on your location and delivery requirements, and must be paid prior to dispatch.

Once your furniture arrives, all that's left to do is enjoy furniture created especially for you.
